He had metal encased dreadlocks, with almost brass bands at the bottom of two of the ones that hung down his front. He seemed to stare at me with bright red eyes coming from slits in his helmet. A series of white (ivory) horns seemed to protrude out the side of the helmet, giving him a distinctive look, and his mouth was covered by metal bars resembling teeth.

I saw Midnight look at me with an approving smile on his face. "Dead men tell no tales?" he repeated; the smile on his face grew until it transformed into a maniacal grin. "I like that expression," he said. "Your species seem to be a violent one. Curiosity killed the cat; dead men tell no tales… you need to tell me more."
