to add more, in the recent chapter available, the intelligence stat (after investing in it) helped him think under pressure, lack of stamina, and other strains upon him. not really make him more "intelligent". but if that is another definition of getting smarter then I have no words left to say HAHAHAHAHAH

smh.. let me make myself clear. this stat, I believe just like any other novel or games is leaning towards mages as it boost magic dmg or mana capacity something. not purely boost a person's smartness. but another path for this stat is mental toughness which is mentioned in the future chapters. Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't remember this stat makes you smarter being mentioned in the novel.
