If Otto was a terrible hand, what about the possibility of Rahenys becoming one? It was a good characterization by the author about the characters. It shows virtues and flaws well. Although I think Rahenys would hardly impose the office of hand on herself after her tragedies, plus she doesn't have the ability or political connections for it. Oddly enough, it's a position where having a dragon is of little use and her character would hardly make things easier for her. Maybe if it wasn't a martial and patriarchal society with gratuitous violence as its bread and butter, he'd make it. Frankly, the best choice of hand would be Daemon, just for the order he could bring to the court, he is the most capable of the Targaryens at the time in my opinion and proved it several times in the books, though he would probably die poisoned in the power struggles because of his tendency to stir up hornet hives. I don't think Rahenys would survive the charge, she wasn't a particularly cunning or intelligent character in the books, it would be somewhat forced for her to do so. I feel the same way about Rahenyra's cause to the throne, any other heir to the throne would have been stripped of his legacy with all he did. Frankly, and despite the criticisms of regular readers, the Greens are the only ones capable of maintaining the stable power of the inverted pyramid that constitutes the social stratum of Westeros.

The biggest problem with these Harry's expeditions with original content is that they lack the canonical referential weight to be attractive. If they at least had a canonical basis, such as lost objects mentioned in the books or some oral reference to a mural or story, they might be more interesting. At the moment, the plot of the giant dragon eggs and the arcians seems to me as implausible as it is contemptible.

And here I thought it was the rise of a second house of dragonriders that caused the major precedent for the future dance of dragons? No doubt the great Jaehaerys smoked something good and strong in his last years of reign to allow that. And then Viserys the same, the system was clear and not exactly black. As much as you hate the Greens, they had things clear even with a figurehead incompetent Aegon, a centralized system. That Rahenyra and the Velaryon, for god's sake; can it degenerate that much? The sea serpent was just that, a serpent who wanted to be a dragon consort. Amazing what the only halfway sane one out there was the Daemon. 😂😂🤣🤣

Yes, I will continue with the story. Right now I am perfecting the chronology. That's why I'm taking so long to update. Lord of Demise apologizes.
