I think Annie is acutely aware of what type of person her father was and would not be overtly surprised at what horrible antics he is responsible for. Mayhap she would feel responsible and guilty in place of her father and may just want to go back to the school to avoid being a burden to him.

What Rubia said just now, that she and Liana would protect me, were not empty words. In fact, they literally meant what she had intended. If something were to go wrong tonight, she and Liana would bare the blame and would inevitably walk to the gallows at the end of the night. Reuben never cared much for those who did not carry much value to him. That, I had realized a long time ago. If not, he wouldn’t be sitting on the golden throne today. He was charming, cunning, and a hypocrite, and he knew how to manipulate a person to do his bidding. And I knew, he wouldn’t shy away from sending any amount of his subordinates to their deaths for his ambitions and his loved ones(In which, I’m not included if you’re entertaining some bizarre ideas inside that head of yours, I’m just one of his more important subordinates to put it in a nutshell), so I did not want Liana or Fred to get caught up in his ruse. I really do think Charles needs a really solid friend and ally. I do hope he has some redeeming qualities hidden somewhere in that stostic persona, however I do not know if he has been corrupt beyond salvation. What black deads has he commited or has it not progressed so far? It seems like Sigmund found a young bright Charles in need of companionship then manipulated and twisted him to his liking.

I am slightly confused? I can’t remember it being mentioned whether Nia can speak under this blood curse, or it really being explained at all. Like if the person who placed the curse on her dies, will she as well? The moment Egan hears her voice he will know it’s her. Also confused on why, if he would go through all this for Nia, he is being swayed by some random unknown female? Yandere, generally are pretty obsessed with the target of their affections, right? Anyway just looking for clarification.
