And the customers, morons were spending thousands on it. 8 gates is developed for those who cannot use ninjutsu. It relies completely on physical body handling the strain of maximum bursted out output of chakra at each stage. So, unless he plans to research and develop the 8 gates into something more stable and reliable for ninjutsu use, that's a dumb jutsu to put focus on.
