As an Englishmen, I can confidently say the French have never done anything useful since the country was created (the 1st time).

"Headache with these Englishmen... now I'm beginning to understand the French. Next... Hospodar Moldova sends his thanks for the Tatars... irrelevant. Saddat has returned to Jazłowiec... irrelevant. A letter from Rakoczy, it might be interesting." (MC)

Are you trying to make his last name impossible to say?

"Before you say anything, listen to me. The announcement that you are my main heir probably surprised you, you also refused very quickly. So I have another offer, you do not have to get rid of the name Jazłowiecki, but you have to change your surname to Jazłowiecki-Ostrogski. What do you think?" (Janusz Ostrogski)

    Whomever

Over the years, Hartman had proven himself a capable warrior and a cunning leader. In fact, it was because of his actions that the true-born sons of his father met an untimely demise. Of course, none of this had ever been proven, and to speak of it was slander. Which would surely result in the decapitation of whoever had uttered such foolish words.

Lucky, I have only played warband so far (is Bannerlord any good)

Gerald was right, looking after the two of them was too much like hard work. There were way too many pickpockets for his liking, it did not help that they were by far the most lavishly dressed people in the market by far. Even if neither one of them liked to dress fancily, that was by noble standards. By a common pickpocket's standards they looked like they were dressed in denars, gold denars.

It is a really good book with an interesting story line. There is solid character development throughout the book. The main issue is the cover. I would suggest a map of Fiveria or Ezaes as the cover to help get a better idea of the world, but otherwise it is great (by the way, my favourite character is Rhydian).

Is this story based on/inspired by Mount and Blade?

This book is absolutely amazing. I started reading it because a friend recommended it to me and, frankly, it is one of the best books I've read in a while. Comparable to George Orwell's 1984
