No it's more the Legendary Super Saiyan just badly affecting the mental heath, mainly clear anger problems, which literally makes their mind regress to a monkey(which can't be far off seeing they can transform into a huge ape's) and Broly's sanity is explained in the movie where it's said he has the properties of a great ape while in human form(or something like that) and it's shown turning into the great ape makes them practically braindead so Broly while never actually mastering great ape is one in human form, obviously later on at the end of the movie it shows him gaining more sanity just like when u try to gain control in great ape(just making what I'm saying more plausible) so I don't really see how they would be in pain(and sorry for the rant just wanted to inform u of my perspective and knowledge of things hopefully allowing u to make an even better story)

Well while yes he'll be ahead of all others, it's the most logical for him to advance this quickly, after all not only does he have a future OP ability he was reborn in a really fortunate situation allowing him to take advantage of a lot of things with his knowledge, it's just realistic writing, to a degree of course, but realistic nonetheless
