It was pretty good in the first half of the story, but it went downhill after the rest since it sticks to the canon instead of AU. Also the mc decisions can be questionable at the times but who cares.
Icarus wasn't sure about the approach he should be going for while taking care of her—should he treat her like a daughter or a little sister? He had the older mindset available to act as a father, but still eventually decided to treat her as a sibling. Tbh, magic circuits is overrated, and not a lot of mages want to use it as they have to find other means perform magecraft without being glitch.
Icarus could recall from his memories of the franchise that Magic Circuits still needed a Thaumaturgical Foundation to function, and currently… none existed. Magecraft would not work in the first place… at least until Solomon if he remembered correctly. - Libra_Pegasus8mthCommented

I’m pretty sure her ambition is just to be a normal teenage girl. That’s why she spends most of time wasting at school. No wonder why she is wasted in the first few episode in the anime, she’s just not that smart. If she is that smart, cunning and powerful she could have end the marriage on her own instead of over-relying on Issei. She’s just a naive girl in the end.

Can you tell me specific names other than Loleirei who can fought servants in universe. There was no statesment about magi going toe to toe against Servants other than Ciel, Reisbyfe, most DAAs, Aoko and Kouma Kishima, including higher level beings like Divine Spirits. You can’t use assumptions as canonical sources. Again, we haven’t seen her in action so there’s no clear evidence if she can fight them.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen any modern mages who can go toe to toe with a servants unless it was written in fanfiction. It’s like saying Shiki can kill servants except he can’t. I don’t I’ve ever seen her ability to use somekind of True Magic equivilent spells before. In fact we have never seen her in action or her full capability in magecraft. We’ve never seen her fight any DAAs ever. Sure some DAAs can fight other servants depends on the compatibilty. But the servants would triumph over them in the long run because of their experience and adaptability. These sounds like baseless statements because again: She has never shown us how she fight. And NO mages has ever fought servants before. The servants are too fast, too strong, has more versitilily, experience and firepowers that is beyond anything what she can do.

The Emiya Crest Would not work since they’re not biologically related
Before he embarked on his journey across the Middle East, Emiya had spent a few years inside the Clocktower studying runes and other crafts—so even with his limited talent, he could still create a basic field. Sometimes he wondered… Would things still be the same if Kiritsugu had taken his role as a teacher in the arts of magecraft seriously? If he face a TYPE, he’s screwed, they’re the strongest beings in the Nasuverse that even magicians are afraid of fighting it. Although I doubt any grand servants can face it since they’re way out league against beings beyond their comprehension. I also doubt EMIYA could face a Beast alone since he would need a lot of allies to face it. Archer is good but he’s just an underdog, he’s not that impresive compares to other combatants.
He preferred going up against a Grand Servant than to even come close to a Type. Heck, even gods were manageable.
