In English, it sounds like you were saying I am blind for not being able to see "anything of his S.h.i.t.s" but I now understand that's not what you meant.
ty for your response, was interesting to hear as I've never thought about it like that. <3
I was only asking the reason for hating him as I am authoring a DD fanfic and thought it would be interesting to know. But then I get hit with 'you must be stupid or a fanboy' out of nowhere. Again, you say that I am in denial of him being a bad character because I'm 'a fan.' Tang San is like a wall. I can't hate or love a wall, because it is a wall. He's just average.
That's a really convincing answer, did you perhaps smile while typing it?
Trust me, I get it. Even at the time of writing this, I remain skeptical as to the functionality of harem novels. I'm reading one of the sites' popular ones as I type this and yeah... little to no romantic development. It's like they're playing Pokémon or something. Still, I will give my best attempt at writing this 1. for my own experience as a writer (trying out things is always good) and 2. to try and deliver. Even if it does not end up being a harem (probable), I want to at least make a good love triangle as I have always enjoyed the trope. ☺
No offense, but how could you even hate Tang San? Least offensive character written in xianxia ever. Like, there's nothing there to even criticize in the first place.

In the original draft, I had a whole story for this but it got lost in the rewrite. The old man, having little attachment to money, had used the literally chose to throw money as a way to teach Wei the lesson that "the tallest trees are the ones who face the winds." As the money in the will would only be given if Wei was alive, the family would harm him but restrain from killing him. Then on his deathbed, his grandfather appears as a ghost, saying it was all a trial to prepare Wei for life as a cultivator. Thus, Wei became a low-key character with trust issues which create many future interactions in the series. Of course, you probably don't care for any of this, just thought I'd say. :)
