I like my fantasy novels exactly like this, slow but to the point. The author doesn't drag along chapters, or scenes, but instead slows them down a bit to give each character some depth. Overall the plot seems interesting, and I can't wait to see how he uses engineering in his magic.

I have only read a few chapters but I can say it is a really good story I really like the main character, the writing style is really good and so is the concept of the story, this has a lot of potential. Well done and keep up the good work.
