from what I have seen of the story, the background is not picking up a good flow rate to clue into what is next. what I find in common about a world of elements where each ability must come in at minimum, of three set categories. for example; future sight in effected by time, fate, and mental. time for future, fate for effecting present, mental for the cost. this because each ability must have at least one of three as a cost; mental, spiritual or the body it's self. each has a bar on it's own but recover in a different manner; mental is mostly about concertation, spiritual is about mana or chi, the body is about stamina.
I mostly agree about it although it is mostly hard to understand some aspects, because they take some thing's from other languages without full translation
i find that having a block isn't a problem, but what to figure out afterwards might break the rhythm.
the book well written, a slow story compared to similar books with the same classification.
this reminds me of another book, that has a similar start but with a different progression themes
just like a true survivalist surviving a snake bite i feel like he gets poison resistance soon after this event, though it might be useless most of the time
I agree with what you said mostly... I am thinking in the direction of experimenting while resting
i feel the MC is having binoculars in his face with his path and needs a reminder to be careful going the path of magic and not fully caring about hidden side-effects of breaking limits within a short period of time.
I feel some things are being forgotten 😅
??? ok lol
