Yes, I'm going to increase his team to about ten or twelve. There will be plenty of opportunities to decide future team members, though two or three have already been decided. As for updates, I am but a simple masters student who is working full-time and doing an internship. Free time is hard to come by, especially since I have to travel every holiday/summer to see family and I need to work in order to ensure I have money for rent. It's tough, but I will eventually start writing more once I'm done getting my masters degree.

From the polls, the team is looking like inkay, ferroseed, galarian slowpoke, and fuecoco. However, I'm not limiting characters to just 6 Pokémon, even if that's the standard in this AU. so we're gonna have quite a team at the end

I honestly feel like most Pokémon have a dark side to their lore, but I might be reaching. I do think Malamar could be useful for trauma intervention in the Pokémon world

That's how I feel about Ice and Bugs. I tend to stick with offensive tanks, so something that take and give out hits, so I totally feel ya on that.

For the most part. I'm also changing the way some parts played out, like the way he regains his memories, his team, and the gyms he tackles. I'm going to focus on the journey for this first volume as he gets settled into the world and then get into the action, unlike before where I tried to mash it together and hoped for the best. It was difficult cause this is the first story I've ever gotten more than 10 pages, but I'm very proud of the fact that I was able to write over 100 pages in the previous version

Marco gets a team of Malamar, Ferrothorn, Swampert, Aegislash, Volcarona, Hattrem, Hawlucha, and Skorupi; he gets a few gym badges; almost dies after investigating an aggressive Pokémon incident that was really some demons and regains his memories; gets thrown into the Distortion World after fighting some zombies, meets Cyrus, gets blessed by Giratina; leaves distortion world and gets dumped in orre to find more areas are being attacked by zombies and demons; he, Prof. Sycamore, and another character form a group that begins to meddle with League politics; Marco went to meet up with calem to investogate some weird stuff happening in santalune forest. those are the important parts, but it felt like it was ramping up way to quickly on my end, especially for what I wanted to do

Ha, thanks! I'll be deleting the chapters later this week and uploading rewritten chapters. it got to a point where I wasn't sure how to continue without just ramping up the story and ending it abruptly. please let me know what you think of the rewrites!
