True, as I made it so that in this world Ditto is a failed clone of mew and since team rocket is just starting, said experiments are yet to begin so no Ditto yet.

Will take a while as I had not been able to write much since my work got a lot busier with our new project so can't say when the next chap be out but better not expect it to be soon as I check what I got now and I'm not satisfied with how the progression is done with the next chapter.

Malamar is Dark Psychic which is Neutral when hit with Dark-type attacks, I also imagined that the part of the cave where the battle happened was lit up by the disco squid light show

Nope, unlike its earlier forms Blastoise range attacks comes from its cannons so it just hid in it shell for additional defense and attacked with Dragon pulse since its super effective against Zweilous.

This is actually the strategy that Elite four Bertha used in the anime with her Hippowdon from what I can remember but I may need to check it.
In just a matter of two days, Gible had battled seven Pokémon and still rearing to go for more which was a great help as I was able to come up with a way to finally make use of Gible's odd habits in battle. The most effective strategy I found was to make it so that when Gible was rising underground to show his fin he is to make random use of the move bulldoze to lightly shake the ground. Fun fact in the Anime using Physical Steel type moves allows the user to redirect Electric type attacks toward the ground. In this example Pelipper is a flying water type which is 4x week to electricity but by using Steel wing to redirect the attack it literally received zero damage.
The maneuver mainly involves Feebas slapping away opponents who get too close or slapping projective attacks such as energy ball and aura sphere back to the attacker. It's a bit of a stretch expecting a Feebas to perform such stunts but it's worth trying though and it acts as a good foundation for learning Iron tail when Feebas evolves into Milotic.
