This is one of the rare romance stories that I would recommend even to those, who usually avoid the genre. Despite certain grammar mistakes, The Hacker Girl is easy to read and fun to follow. It will charm you with a cast of quirky characters and a vibrant setting. The main character gets kidnapped a bit too many times in the story (poor Naomi really should watch her back), but the mess she causes every time propels the narrative forward.
And the most intelligent, the most subtle, and generally the most interesting among all these men is the quiet and intellectual Satoru. Bonus points for glasses. [img=recommend]
Ok, now we have a dark-path cultivator on stage:) Sorry, could not hold back. I like that guy already.
That escalated quickly.....
She did get in trouble, didn't she?:) For now, I am simply waiting to see how this situation resolves. I like the way you write tension.
The setting is something unexpected and I am very intrigued so far. I think you could use less exposition to explain Naomi's backstory and add some hints instead: her memories of her father's misbehavior, snippets of her life in Brazil. I think that you've revealed everything a bit too quickly. Anyway, I want to know where this goes.
It is a very promising read that starts out as a familiar revenge story but surprises you with an unexpected twist. The best part of the story is its great pacing. The only aspect of this novel that I found a bit jarring was Lilian's evil family. The main antagonists are proverbial monsters with no redeeming qualities. While I understand the intention behind this portrayal of the bad guys, I hope that the author will add more nuance. I would love to know their backgrounds, their fears, and their hopes. Overall, this story is an enjoyable read for those, who like power fantasy and good old revenge stories. I think it's a promising start.
I am waiting for a slow grind and regular upgrades:)
LitRPG vibes!!!! Yes, I already love this setting.
The premise is great so far, although the protagonist is too much of a sacrificial lamb. I guess that her naivete is intentional. I hope she will become a badass in the future. Also, I hope the evil sister is not just evil, but actually has some compelling motives and inner struggles.
Ok, moving ears are just cute.
The magic system and the female characters keep me reading. Thanks:)
I love the pacing of the story and the character ensemble. However, typos and constant jumps from past to present tense make the text difficult to read. These things are fixable with a good editing program.
I am just getting into the story and I already appreciate the care and attention you paid to worldbuilding. Taking into account the complexity of the setting, this narrative somehow manages to avoid expositions dumps. Although my knowledge of Hindu myths is not very deep, even I get many references and love the way you weave them into the story. Bonus points for character names. They are awesome so far. I've been searching for a fantasy read based on mythology and with lots of intrigues. And this seems to be it. Thanks a lot! Also, any potential romance is always a welcome:)
No. It's not. I actually like how you skip between timelines. That especially makes sense since we are talking about constant rebirths and readjustments. But I can do nothing with myself...I love the historical aesthetics.[img=recommend]
TiredConstellation has the best loglines. Officially[img=recommend]
The status interface is a bit unexpected, but I like the premise so far. I hope it won't go into the modern world, though.
That is some imperial history shining through here. Thanks for a promising start. It does sound interesting.
