That's not how it works technically or biologically because the electrical signals in your brain is not the you itself because they don't mean anything other than the input signals or output responses, you are the neurons themselves because neurons learn to react to those electrical signals and act like logic gates. So when you go to the net, the devices in your head give and take information at an incredible speed and that's why netrunners overheat. So if you are suddenly cut off, you won't get stuck in the net but instead get thrown out of the net and possibly get your brain scrambled. If you say that you are the electrical signals themselves, that's like saying when 2 people are talking, you are the words in between.
