It honestly becomes a drag to read just filler about the mc catching pokemon for like 40 chapters straight and you just know these pokemon will never actually become relevant to the story. By chapter 800 nothing has happened other then the small major arcs that make up like 200 chapters. The rest are just filler and unnecessary side-quests that dont lead anywhere. Even the training stuff that the mc does and the whole academy arc just becomes irrelevant.

Honestly, a fairly good book, but there became more and more plot holes the further i went. And the mc that the story focused on in the start, kinda just became a side character. There are just a lot of action scenes that are kinda vague, and the mage knowlegde is power thing at the start just went poof, and suddenly he has a shit ton of spells and the chip is like mentioned here and there(its analysing stuff). Never really being used. The stat sheets are also gone, and just in general the story degraded as it progressed.

Is leon still solidifying and optimizing spells through the system?

Hmm, hoping leon will get some body development techniques that he can adapt to suit him

This chapter was weird, doble posts and skips without any warning and the deal with his analysis in the library not having any end/we didnt get told what happend.

This brood felt like a combo of starcraft infested and tyranids. But for some reason it really reminded me of the infested from warframe.
