I continued reading after my previous review and I'm not disappointed. The writing feels better in later chapters and the story development is more interesting; however, I might have to drop this due to Yara's introduction. The novel is heading towards a harem, with all the subtle hints with Selena and now Yara. Harem is the most unrealistic thing you could ever add to a novel, especially one based in modern times, where women hold modern values. Perhaps in the future when more chapters come out and it's confirmed that this isn't a harem, I'll read and pay for the privilege. But for now, I'm dropping.

Only in bad novels. Cultivation and Immortal Cultivation, is in essence getting rid of the worldly shackles such as ego, greed, pride and ascending to become a being who's neither too taut nor too loose, a balanced being who's unwavering in his pursuit of the Dao while also appreciating even the slightest of things; I have no clue where you got the idea of cultivation being a slave mentality from.

Why wouldn't you want a partner who can handle her matters while also being able to assist you and vice versa? In modernity, feminism is quite misinterpreted and a lot of people think that being strong and independent means hating others and wanting to stay alone. But a truly equal relationship where both partners are capable and intelligent will always be better than an unequal one where the woman (or the man) is completely dependant on the other and can't function alone.

These comments are so incredibly smooth brain. Even the most resilient of humans will find it quite impossible to stay in one, unbearably quiet place alone for 12 hours. I have no clue how this guy even lasted 9 days before becoming erratic, probably something with his soul. Calling him a generic MC just because he is showing signs of a mental breakdown in a situation like this, without any cultivation is incredibly ignorant. Y'all are sheltered asf; even the people that complained about him having a hard time killing would probably die in the first 10 years of reincarnation.

Despite the rough start I quite like the novel, although I'm not really caught up to it yet. Quite an interesting and refreshing read, I just sincerely hope that author won't suddenly stop releasing chapters and drops this novel as it happens to many other great ones. I hope the novel keeps receiving the support and attention it deserves so the author's motivation doesn't wane and he keeps writing.
