Genuinely did not expect to find a gem today while looking through books bored out of my mind but it seems like I scored. So far I have read till past chapter 100 and I absolutely love it, Silver and Rav are genuinely fun to read about and the setting of the story, while it does feature some elements that are common(walls, apocalypse, etc.) still takes an original view and is fun to explore. I also really like the power system of the story, the tattoos are cool, original, and the system is fun to read about as the powers are largely based on the luck of what you’ll find and what youll get(at least from all the books I’ve read, in the books I read power doesn’t come in the form of tattoos and there isnt as many requirements for gaining power(but also I don’t read taming novels and I feel like this might be included in those books so I can’t say for sure that it’s not common)). Only thing I think could be better is the way the plot is moving forward(ofcourse I love it thats why i’m reading but I think it could be better, author please read?) one of the reasons Silver said he doesn’t want to join the og protagonist is because of how many incidents keep happening around the him however that is quite litterally happening to Silver right now [SPOILERS!!!!!] He is litterally being chased by assassins, a giant worm destroyed multiple settlements and almost the one he was at, and now he is in a settlement that I’m pretty sure(not confirmed) has parasitic plants that take over a person, which would be all fun if it didn’t happen in the course of less then a week. Silver went out there to train and get to his academy but instead it feels less like a journey to his academy while training and more like a show where every episode theres a whole new smaller plot. Dont get me wrong, I like the novel and will support it in the future because it’s genuinely a fun read and a gem but I feel like it’s moving so fast and these events are less connected then they could be because theres nothing in between. It’s genuinely one small plot, solve it, and then next. I do think thats a nice strategy to explore the setting of the book as Silver and Rav travel and I know it’s also commonly used but I feel like in this specific case the events are too big so it would be better if the events had something in between, maybe a time they could actually train(I know they are training during their travels and I know those events help build experience but I mean actual focus on training or just on building their relationship so it’s not so disconnected and to make it feel less like a new episode is starting in the show every time theres a new event)(Also this isnt like that big of a deal, to me it just felt disconnected with the plot, ofcourse I’ll read no matter what even if it continues like this). Overall though it’s truly a gem and I will try to support the book however I can, I truly recommend reading. Thank author for the book!

Is he going to choose both? I hope not Genuinely have never read a novel with such complex and/or weird relationships and connections as in this novel so I wouldn’t be surprised if somehow he got both but while I actually really like Raven(I didn’t at first but he really grew on me) I hope he doesn’t get both, like I know it’s talked about multiple times how both of them make him feel a certain way and make him feel whole in one way or another but… I feel like they wouldn’t want to share him ig?? He’s also been so bad to Sarah and I feel like he should redeem himself to her, like before he only used her while Anesthesia used him and it was a whole toxic cycle where Sarah was the one suffering the most as the other two atleast got something out of it, I hope Anesthesia finds another lover if Raven chooses Sarah(like I hope he does) or if he chooses Anesthesia I hope Sarah gets someone really amazing for herself but I hope he doesn’t get both, like idk I don’t think it would work and I don’t want it to work

Just promise not to drop it 😭😭🙏 I’ve read books and the author has a huge following on the book and then they drop it at 400, 600 chapters 🫠🫠🫠
