Not to sound condescending, but that isn't at all the idea behind that question. That question is about Gojo's identity, not why he's strong. Geto is asking whether Gojo's power defines who he is, or whether his identity exists independently of being "the strongest." Interpreting it as "Gojo is strong because he's Satoru Gojo" misses the point, because the whole question is about whether those two things can even be separated.
