As of chapter 115 the story is great however the translation is really not up to par. This would be so much better with a better translation :(.

Translation quality dropped after Chapter 44 (MTL is probably better). Don't waste your money on this. I don't understand why qidian keeps hiring the translator "549690339". His translations are so bad. Every single novel that he translates becomes garbage even if the source material his pretty good or has some potential. It is quite impressive to be so bad at your job and still be able to keep it.

Fairly generic novel but quite entertaining to read nevertheless. The translation is pretty good too. So yeah if you have nothing better to do give this novel a shot

Pros : Most characters are well designed and have a personality of their own. The world seems to be alive (Things happen even if they don't necessarily involve the MC unlike most cultivation novels written by chinese authors). Cons: slow-paced short chapters Overall a good novel
