Well overhaul has a disadvantage here, considering that he's a close ranged fighter it'd be hard for him to actually touch izuku because of izukus quirk but izuku himself also is at a disadvantage since in the anime, it's very clear to see that overhaul isn't hard to beat, with a quirk like he's it's almost impossible to keep your stamina in check, and the izuku in this story is a bit more reckless than the actual izuku in the anime soooo im not sure AND also, overhaul can control concrete right? Or whatever he touches? So he can also be a close ranged fighter and a long ranged fighter which will probably make it harder for izuku to actually beat overhaul in a fight. Now that I think of it, izukus quirk is somehow similar to mirio

Author, i read this like week's ago i think or before 2022 and it made me realize, the responses of the characters don't make as much sense
Overhaul's actions surprised Izuku, thinking that Overhaul was a more close-ranged fighter and incapable of fighting from a distance. 'So he's decided to use violence to try and kill me? Things are gonna get messy.' Izuku thought. "IF IT'S A FIGHT YOU WANT, I'LL GLADLY DELIVER, OVERHAUL!!!" - RaeMaccar3v1yrCommented"WHAT THE FUCK KATSUKI!!!" Masaru interrupted the silence as he got up from his chair explosively as we furiously went towards Katsuki and slapped him across his face with a force so loud it could be heard from outside. The boy fell to the ground as his eyes watered as he held his red cheek marked with a fresh handprint. "THE FU-" The boy was cut off from getting up with another slap to the face by Masaru. "DON'T YOU DARE USE FOUL LANGUAGE TO YOUR FATHER, KATSUKI BAKUGO!!!" He yelled. Katsuki whimpered in fear, not saying anything. Masaru was about to give his son another lesson, joined by his wife, Mitsuki but was stopped last second by Nezu.
