I didn't drop it. I stopped it as I felt like I lost motivation to write it. but, I promise I'm gonna pick it up again in the near future and perhaps rewrite it as a whole if I can.

No, since those gates are a manifestation of memories, the things he fought weren't real. The items he received were simply the reward of conquering the gate.

The range is around 40-50 meters. But, beyond around 20 meters, accuracy becomes harder and consumes more mana. So, he couldn't really use it as a reliable distraction.
