It's the at shade of blue that some languages have a hard time defining. Cyan/Aqua-ish. For instance, in Japanese the kanji used for aqua is the same kanji as the word for green and is commonly spoken as the word for green, that being "midori". The word for "blue" is relatively new in some languages, only being in them ranging from a decade ago to a couple centuries. I doubt that's the case here but it's something to keep in mind with all the fics on this site written in English by people learning English or that have it as a second or third language.

Whistling is just blowing air through a narrow pathway, I can see it being possible with a protomorph or any of the other (insert first half here)-morphs.
