I looked at the paved entrance of the town hall. To think that at the beginning of the week, hundreds of people had been protesting, and now there was no one at all was disheartening. The amount of atrocities we knights had committed to snuff out the protests was depressing. I couldn't believe I had to continue doing this for the next two weeks in other port towns. How many more innocent lives would I have to take?
