This story is so intriguing and fun to read.

The MC is a spineless pushover and the ML is an abusive, gaslighting asshole. Their relationship is absolutely toxic and there is no character growth at all. I really wanted to like this story but every new chapter just kept disappointing me. I can't even complete the whole thing, I'm just that disgusted.

It's perfectly fine as it is. It's not the same as most of the other stories, making it unique. Also, I liked the childhood, not too childish and not too creepily mature.
