Single parents, especially single mothers are often discriminated against there. 50% of single mothers live in poverty. Just google Single parents in Japan, you will find so many articles in this regard.

Sorry, it seems like I didn't explain it properly in Basic Information chapter. I initially thought of revealing the abelites slowly and let readers understand, but without a proper foundation it will be confusing. I have updated the Basic info chapter with more information.
