Shock horror, politicians corrupted something?The only constant in the world is that politicians regardless of race, religion or time are corrupt and there are enough stupid ppl to believe current democracies works!!

If you need to write a disclaimer about nonsense you put in your own book, it means you didn't realise the issue until it was pointed out. Otherwise you would have either not included it or put the disclaimer at the beginning if the chapter so ppl reading it would already be aware.

Has to be one of the trashiest book I have read for a while. I'm guessing the authors age is about 13. The beginning had good trauma it was a novel setting but quickly fell into clichés. The MC personality is not constant with those who have suffered trauma and been significantly betrayed. I mean do some basic reading on trauma before building it into a story. My god just Google it if you are really lazy.No consistency in world building at all. One moment he is craving for magic spell but takes him a whole year to use it and figure out it doesn't permanent deplete his MP. Then suddenly picks up the ability to use fire? The first antagonist is an uncle who has immense political power but gets bullied by the MC to make a bet? The sheer ridiculous and plots holes are beyond my willing to describe.I hope this review will save some ppl from wasting their precious time. Spend you time on something better.

given his desire to learn magic its a bit of a plot whole he didn't learn about this sooner. this paragraph implies he only started using the enhance spell a year after getting it.

Thank you for taking the time to write this review. I dislike this type of MC, it has no depth. I like anti-hero as there are normally moral limits, i.e. innocents aren't targeted. Your review had saved me wasting my time reading this novel.

It's weird how a name change can change your perception so significantly. I can't get back into the book with the name Shang, it's just too weird and keeps pulling me out of the story. It was a good book while it lasted.

The translation is pretty bad. It's not to bad for the earlier chapters but gets alot worse. By chapters 70 plus it's just confusing. The grading of troops is all wrong and confusing as are the abilities. Save yourself the time and don't bother, it's just a poor reads.

So after the author spent a few paragraphs highlighting thdure situation of the MC. We now read he is on a boat drinking tea, slight loss of impact.

There are many levels too vanity and laziness, a certain level can bring depth and charm to a character. However, for me personally the level reached nauseating with the MC.
