I'm confused about this novel in the tags section (#NONHUMAN). You might think that maybe there are intelligent creatures other than humans who can communicate, but this tag (#NONHUMAN) can be used on non-human protagonists. This is where I get confused as to whether this non-human is the Protagonist or a side character!
Saleen Metatrin is the last of his clan, the Metatrin clan. As his clan decline due to outside conflicts and debtors were unable to pay the clan declined into poverty. His parents died when he was Six and was cheated out of his remaining inheritance by greedy businessmen in Ceylon City. The only things left are his house and a badge with a crack in the shape of lightning running through the middle. ____________________________________In the beginning, a rank 5 mage knocks on his door asking to buy his house. Saleen instead wants to become his disciple and Jason agrees. The year in which magic had originated was unknown. Many believed that the magic in the Myers Mainland possessed over thirty thousand years of history. It was not until about ten thousand years ago, during the Second Dynasty, that it had been properly categorized into six parts. These parts were namely earth, water, wind, fire, light, and darkness. From then on, the calendar in the Myers Mainland had been improved. A year was divided into twelve months; each month had thirty days; six days formed a week. The sixth day of each week was considered the dark day, and was the day of rest for all trades. Even with the fall of Myers Goddess, the Goddess of Nature, and the rise of the Holy See, this practice had remained unchanged.
The story tells of a cultivator named "Izroth" reincarnated into a young man named "jin", who died in an accident. During Jin's time, his biggest wish was to become the number one player in the virtual world. This is where the uniqueness is that Izroth cannot try to cultivate in the real world because there is no spiritual energy there, but in the virtual world he can cultivate and the effects are also carried over to the real world.
[Basic Shamanic Summoning Arts] refers to a foundational skill that allows the user to tap into the unique summoning abilities traditionally practiced by orcs. These summoning arts were initially modified by the Sage of Erudition to suit human summoners, creating a more accessible version of orcish summoning techniques. The skill enables the user to summon creatures known as Orcbeasts, which are beasts specifically trained and tamed by orcs to aid them in battle. Key features of [Basic Shamanic Summoning Arts] include: Summoning Orcbeasts: The skill allows the user to summon Orcbeasts, such as the Arx'has Boar mentioned, to accompany them in combat. These summoned creatures scale in power based on the user's stats at the time of summoning. Control Options: The user has the option to either directly control every movement of the summoned Orcbeasts or give them simple orders that they will follow without hesitation. This flexibility allows for tactical adaptation during battles. Summoning Limit: The skill has a limit on the number of Orcbeasts that can be summoned simultaneously, with a maximum of two Orcbeasts allowed at a time. Cooldown and Cost: There is a cooldown period of 1 minute between summonings, and the cost of summoning depends on the specific Orcbeast being summoned. Overall, [Basic Shamanic Summoning Arts] provides the user with the ability to summon powerful allies from the orcish tradition, enhancing their capabilities in combat situations.
