Mc is just gaining his bearings, and is currently located in Inazuma... But who knows what'll happen in the future🤔

I was too disconnected since it's been so long. I'm still holding on to the previous chaps so I might try to rewrite it sometime. For now, I just want to try and write this one though :)

Again, my memory isn't my strong suit, but If it isn't failing me I think it had something to do with the difference in time. The first time (when Subaru was one-shot) it was late at night and for some reason she was in a hurry (can't remember why though). The second time they "fought" it was way earlier during the evening or something, and she wasn't in a hurry? I'm gonna be totally honest, my memory is pretty bad. Like goldfish-memory bad... If my explanation ringed any bells then great if not then everything I said may be complete bs :) (lol)

It sounds like an interesting concept, but that would mean I'd have to rewrite the whole story. I'll keep it in mind if I decide to rewrite. As it is now, I'd rather keep going with what I'm doing with minor tweaks than to start from scratch. I am but an inexperienced and newbie author, even if I decided to rewrite because I didn't like something at the beginning, I'd still make similar mistakes as a result of my inexperience.

I get what you're saying, but Mc still has the mindset of his previous world. He doesn't really know what he's doing, but I'm planning to temper his will a little and make him face reality. Then he'll have no choice but to train himself. Also as I keep saying, just because mc's stats are higher than Subaru, without knowing the situation he's walking into ofc he'll die pathetically. He's up against an assassin, and he has no CQC experience or anything of the sort. Only raw stats

It was dark, he couldn't see anything. He has no training in CQC, or anything of the sort. He wasn't expecting an ambush either. Also, Elsa is an assassin and therefore she thrives in a dark environment. Lastly, Elsa is freakishly strong. She was moving fast enough that she was just a blur when fighting Reinhard. If you are still not happy with my reasoning I can't really do anything about it. In my opinion, the mc had no shot at survival in this situation.

I was thinking along the same lines. Eventually he'll be too strong and I don't wanna nerf him. Currently my only solution would be to add OC enemies and making the world AU, but that's far into the future.

Ik what you mean. Subarus fragile stats aside, it was dark and he couldn't see anything. And Elsa is freakish strong by herself. Idk bout you, but I can't see myself surviving that situation. Especially going in blind, both figuratively and literally.

I can't satisfy everyone. If, and I mean IF I add romance I'm thinking somewhat long term. Not something like "I looked into her eyes and fell in love, and she did the same". But that would be a few chapters in, not at the beginning.
