There is a spell making people forget about it. We don't know if he is affected by it or not which now that I think about it, could probably be used to level mind resistance if it affects him. Anyway, if I remember right, the trip to vroengard isn't easy at all and an adult Saphira had trouble going to the island so the point is moot since he doesn't have a way to acces it. Unless he somehow finds a boat and mange to lead a crew to vroengard in a multiple weeks travel. And EVEN if he managed to go there , he and Saphira needs to find their True names to unlock the access to the cave which is supposed to be quite hard to do.
