the only requirement for a carrier of the spell who passed the first nm to awaken is to learn how to wield soul essence, while for someone who hasn't it would be first learning how to use soul essence and then using soul essence to form a soul core. simply put since you gave reinhardt that attribute he would awaken on the spot, thereby gaining his second aspect Ability. this has been confirmed by g3. FYI he would still need to find a gateway.

Maybe he is not SEH anymore? I mean it as the SEH of the 0th cycle was the real one, while this one is someone else. Maybe he is trying to deny that possibility. Or Maybe i am wrong

also, the spell's awakening is gifting you the ability to use essence. However, the normal awakening already required you to control essence as a Dormant (mundane are those who can't even begin to feel essence), after being able to control it you'd need to form a core. Since the spell gives you a core as a Dormant to awaken you'd just need to be able to control essence, I do not remember anything about teaching it but still even so, sunny has already a source of essence inside of him, he can feel it on his own, he is really proficient in controlling it, what more do you need to fastly awaken? nothing, it's just the author having short knowledge about ss
