Uhmm... that's an extreme example. Not all people will just kill just to save themselves. There are a majority of them, but people will also get the urge to group up with each other. It is human nature to connect to others, even at times of crisis. I won't turn this novel into a braindead one where every people are just killing each other for the most dumb reasons. It is not that kind of novel.

Alone, he is only on the low tiers of this world. With his systems and weapons, that goes up to the middle tiers. With the latest chapter, he is getting to the high tiers. There are many people in this world which are too strong. So he is not there yet. As for plans to the future, he won't become that ruthless. He will be more matured about it, but he won't suddenly go on a frenzy and kill anyone just because one of his friend got harmed or something. Basically, he will try and do it in moderation and think things through. That's the plan anyway.
