Holy fucking shit this is one of the best novels I read. I came to this novel after reading the tavern in another dimension novel which I found kinda mid, abrupt ending and it was a pretty shallow novel. Either way, I don't expect a lot from translated novels. This novel isn't quite big yet but so far I fucking love it. On first look, it has your typical fantasy world tropes, demons, elves, humans that kind of stuff. My expectations kind of dipped but the outerlands was a cool twist. Once you read the first couple of chapters you will learn the intentions of the thing that reincarnated him and it isn't your usual take over the world, but it has an actual intention and explanation to it. Once the first customer of the tavern arrives you realize that this novel actually also explores some deeper subjects which I found particularly interesting since I am used to the generic novels where everything in someone's life goes right, but this novel explores actual problems and ways to solve them mixed in with interesting fantasy elements. Lastly, the author knows what he is talking about. Although the novel is in its early stages, it will have my continued support and I expect great things from the author!

Honestly I definitely enjoyed the novel, but the writing quality just drops. At first I really liked it, but later on in the novel it just gets repetitive and the ending is really abrupt, it feels like the author just didn't feel like writing anymore and said "Alright that's it I'm quitting." I would recommend reading the first 6 chapters or so and see if you enjoy it.

Oak does affect the final taste, though. It can also be positive though

Alan once said that if there were no glass or crystal cups, drinking red wine from oak cups was not bad. Therefore, Orina ordered to bring out the old oak stored in the clan and let everyone carve their oak cups. In the past half a month, there were some initial results. Almost everyone in the elf clan had an oak cup.

    I guess

By hiding in plain sight he would not garner the notice of others, just as a diamond would be lost in a sea of crystals.
