I changed my mind, it's just getting ridiculous now. Not sure if he types in 100 words and asks chatgpt to make it a 1000, or what. The authors pacing is abysmal. 100% doing it just to fluff up chapter count.

The story is quite interesting, especially at the beginning BUT, it's so damn slow. It takes like 20 chapters for the MC to get dressed and eat breakfast (not literally, but honestly I've skipped multiple chapters at a time, and not felt like I've missed anything).

Is it just me, or does it feel like MC hasn't really done anything in like 50 chapters?

A few chapters had some slightly difficult readability, but other than that 11/10. I'd pay for a patreon, and I almost never do that.

Well I'll probably skip this based on that alone. unless this is some au, pretty sure the original cycle mentioned wild dragons many times, did the author not read the original, or god forbid, base this off that movie?

A little slow paced, but overall interesting. should be ranked higher, imo.

Pretty good so far (I'm at chapter 8), nothing super novel (pun intended), but translation (atleast I'm assuming) is good. As a (mostly likely) Chinese translation, there are inevitably some China this and China that sentences, but certainly on the tame side (hence far). Of course considering this is about a Chinese student learning Japanese and studying abroad in Japan, it's alright to overlook a little bit, considering it must have been hard to get past the censors, lol.
