Quinn could follow Vincent's logic, but he hadn't forgotten the system's Quest. There appeared to be something beyond a Vampire Lord and at least his system was convinced Quinn had a way to become whatever that was. Yes but also it’s not really how much intelligent you are compared to humans it just needs to be enough to understand basic reasoning and not solving everything with violence

In all honesty, Logan couldn't fault them for what they were trying to do. They were just trying to use what they had to their advantage. Now this is stupid how do you expect to go on missions where lives are at stake but you can leave on her own like a five year old. Quinn’s special treatment to Layla is one of the only things I hate about his character
The reason why he allowed her to come along, was because he was worried that she would just go off on her own once more, if she was left behind. There was no guarantee there would be Logan or someone else rescuing her next. It was far better off being next to him than away. - Werewolf_881712dCommented
He is making her seem strong by saying she now has the strength of a vampire but still a normal vampire is preety weak I mean Borden could beat the strongest vampire in the vampire school with only the small boost of the red pills
In her second form Layla had the strength of a vampire, which could even exceed that if fuelled by negative emotions. Right now the most and probably the only useful thing she can do and give to the story is dying and giving Quinn a lesson about how he manages his family members

Im starting to hate Layla she knows she is weak yet she is using Quinn’s sweet spot for her to let her go on dangerous missions and now she considers going there where there is no reason to go there alone Quinn can just come with her later she is just stupid

This was due to a dear friend of hers, Mitchell dying while trying to fight a humanoid legendary tier beast, back when she was still part of the Crows.
