awwww just like Luggage from Terry Pratchett
lol Luster is the pervert that everyone thought Sunny was in the beginning
he can't see the forest for the trees. or to put it another way, the fish has heard of the ocean, but had never seen it; everyone he spoke to talked about it, but no matter how far he swam, he couldn't find it. when you're in the midst of something so unimaginably large, it's impossible to perceive it without outside help
reminds me of a book i read when i was a child: The Hounds of the Morrigan. one of the three Morrigan was shadow boxing (as in, literally boxing with her shadow- gods, what can you do), and when it was tired and lagging, she threatened to send it to the dark side of the moon. it was terrified because that would mean it's death; shadows need light to live
thou dost protest too much
reminds me of Aeon, at least how it used to be
"three can keep a secret, if two of them are dead." just the fact that more people know means it's going to get out eventually. the more that know, the quicker it spreads
and my curiosity grows. ^.^
now i want to know what the original phrase was
don't forget his chair memory!
there's a joke about stamina hidden in there somewhere, i just know it.
this also explains why Mordret said he spent most of his life before 12 in the Dream Realm. he was fostered with one of the sovereigns, so in order to stay with them he had to be in the dream realm
depends on the cat
i had that thought too, it would certainly be an interesting twist
technically it might be easier for them to assassinate her in the midst of the chaos of a fight like Antarctica. in the same way Caster waited for when she was going to be at her weakest (or so he thought) they would wait for a tough push, when no one knows what's going on anymore and there are THOUSANDS of nightmare creatures to contend with
