I can't exactly remember which one he appears in, but it could be the fourth or fifth book in the Divine Dungeon series by Dakota Krout (Dungeon Desolation or Dungeon Eternium) but it could have been earlier in the series but the whole series is worth a read I've read it all several times, the audio books are also good. (These are actual books, not WN)
Is it rope for the Griffins? I would think they would need a special kind of rope since they are probably stronger than horses and try to fly away.

Starting with quotes now, I see I've seen a couple books do this, and it can give perspective into the thoughts of side characters you might not see again or have never seen. One book it was a future historian or researcher writing about past events and their thoughts. Another book it was quotes from a book within that book that gave lore or told a certain story or mythology.
I think it was seeking immortality in the world of cultivation. It is a very slow read the mc spends hundreds of chapters in the same realm. Also, the author likes to repeat themselves a lot, and there are lots of grammar mistakes at times.
Oh, that's nice, and yes, I've noticed that signing a contract makes it hard to edit old chapters, among many other things.
I didn't realize you also wrote The Ancients World. I enjoyed what I read of it a couple of years ago. No wonder the high-class level beginning seemed familiar. π
