Not necessarily, I haven’t quite explained this yet (due to there not being much plot relevance at the moment), but some creatures are born at higher Stages. As a trade off for being stronger in the beginning, it takes longer to increase a stage due to the more ‘evolved’ soul.
With Scales as white as snow and eyes as blue as ice, It looked like the incarnation of the Frost God. The Frost King was as tall as a small mountain and could decimate a city with ease with it's size alone. The Frost King was a dragon type beast and had a soul at the peak-level of Stage Six. Forgot to add this, but the icosahedron is a 20 sided 3d shape. It would look like the D20’s one would use in dungeons and dragons or something.
Axel averted his eyes to the two other figures, but he was once again in shock. Axel didn't think that in his life that he would receive so many surprises and shocks as he would in one day alone, but he was clearly wrong. This new revelation took the cake, so much so that Axel doubted he would ever see something more surprising. Not gonna lie, I used this combat segment as a point to practice writing combat. you wouldn't believe how delicate of a balance it is (well you probably could, but it's just a figure of speech) and I particularly am bad at writing it. I could have just said something like "Andrew stole the soul gem and then was on the run" but that would be boring and only delaying the problem. Anyways carry on reading good friends, ignore my rambling :)
