Finally, someone takes on the role of the Hand of the King. I don't think I've read a single fanfic with a protagonist as Hand until now. I understand why it's unpopular with so many stories focused on conquerors and knights, but no one seems to want to leverage a position with so much potential for writing intrigue and pulling the strings from behind the scenes.
