They had pushed her. Their intentions might be good but not the way. It's understandable, many times girls and boys of in adolescent period think they are doing right, sometimes they get confused but the way of doing stuffs backfire. Fay should have seeked the help of their school counselor first or atleast try to talk to her nicely without throwing a break up on her face. Fay should have said to her to be independent and back her up to say NO to faces, now everything between them is going to change for once and for all.
