I've always felt like cultivation novels really don't care about measures of distance or size, it's kind of annoying really, I get things can/will be bigger but it's always felt like a fisherman adding size to sound more impressive

As much as it pains me, I'll try to be at least a little bit nice to her. Only a little bit though, and it should be a gradual process...for two reasons. The first being that I wouldn't be able to stomach it. And the second reason is that she'll get suspicious if I suddenly start being super friendly and cheerful towards her. - Spookum1yrCommented

I had the same thought, story really went downhill for me when he basically betrays her for no reason, why would she betray the only other truly persecuted person? I really don't know how this can have a romance tag, the only option he backstabbed with the logic of "what if?" Seems like this is a setup instead for an edgy "I don't need or trust anyone" mc

Am I crazy or was she not the one who brought him and the egg out of the dungeon?
Since the half-wolf didn't know much about her, other than that she is extremely strong, he decided to not give any space for confusion and opted to not tell the half-dragon about the egg.
