I can’t tell if it’s the name Asher but every main character with that name is in my top novels. This novel is really good it keeps you excited and engaged in every chapter from the interesting story and the characters that have purpose. There is also not a woman from the get go that he has to rescue or simp for which is like a breath of fresh air so many books want to do a fl lead that is so dam annoying to the plot progression and has multiple chapters wasted on that when you just want a guy that beats up medieval monsters like a dragon or some shi overall just read this it’s good.

I was hoping for something more…cultured

It’s good A nice refreshing villain that doesn’t start simping for a women on chapter 1 he’s also a mc that can make good decisions. I’d like to add that the female supporting character is not just fan service but an actual character you are interested in and you can hardly find that in novels now so i thank you author.
