no offense but there is a difference between some odd comments and regularly being in a dreamy state. you can't possibly think some who has been behaving like luna can suddenly become different. i am not against any romantic relation for luna, but rather when you are reading from protagonist's perspective she seems more like a little sister, cause she understands too much sometimes. while for a good romantic pairing the needs to be tension or mystery present.

Please do not pair Ginny with Luna. While I like her as a character and think that she didn't get justice in the harry potter books, I see her more as a cute dreamy rabbit than a romantic interest. A character such has her will get ruined if shown in a committed or serious manner, and a dreamy and nonchalant romantic interest is weird to say the least.

Alternatively, should Tom not regain these memories at all, allowing him to forge his own path without the memories of the Harry Potter universe? Or do you have any other creative suggestions for how he could gain access to this hidden knowledge?
