I am very very much excited to continue reading this. Finally, a sequel, even if it's not canon to the original author. I prefer sequels over fanfiction .

Although I can see that the story is going to be good later on(maybe). I hoped that you can improve onnn the, idk... Pacing? I guess. Yeah.. although the story started as a flashback of what happen till that point. I'd hope the pacing can be slowed down a bit. But I can see the pacing slowing down as well. The fast pacing was justifiable since the story started with many flashback and fast-forward until we reached the present.
