Edgar exited the closet the moment he heard Rose's mistake. "She did not skip out on being taught to be what you define as a lady. Her family fucking hid her away because they considered her damaged. This household is fine, she takes care of me wonderfully since you failed to notice and she will be a good mother to our children. From what I see, she is doing well for someone who didn't have any tutors."

"I did think of sending you away. Now I am picturing building a tiny little house near the gates so I don't have to welcome guests like you inside of my house and ruin the peacefulness with your presence. I should start it as soon as winter is over," Edgar said. Why it took him this long to build an area for guests he didn't like in his house was a mystery.

I love the gruesome scene!!!
Julia's screams were heard by everyone who was present as the sword cut deep into her hand with the first blow but as her arm was not severed the first time, Tobias nudged the sword out of her hand and delivered a second blow.

Crazy! How is normal to kill your own mother? My heart is broken for him to fight for his mom attention until the last second.

It’s just a story. There is no right time.
"Why wouldn't I? It is at home hidden away for safety. I only intend to use it for emergencies. You will soon find swords disappearing as Tobias forms agreements with lands familiar with making guns and starts a trade. The town guards are supposed to be trained to use them soon. Tobias wants them to be introduced into the kingdom slowly because of how easy it is to kill someone," Edgar explained.
