Good book, writing quality is top notch. The story develops in a way to keep you captivated. Characters that matter are well designed even some mob have a backstory. Can't comment on the update stability. World background can be better imo. The only sad part is the ending leaves you expecting more.

He was also to show how power can easily change a person's personality, other than that. He won't be relevant. As for your second question, Hong Lin mysteriously killed the man and the spirit was captured. The man won't be relevant but the spirit will, hope this clears your questions.

The first chapter was actually meant to create chaos, I wanted the readers not to be sure who's the mc. A book I read had something like that so I thought why not add it here.
