No, there was no character development whatsoever. Adam was still getting tricked by Ruby as shown in the previous chaps. Aqua was happy because the MC cooked him food. Maybe the only thing that could've been development here was Ruby and Aqua figuring out what happened with Miyako and Adam, but overall, it was nothing but filler. You even based the title on something so small of an act. It just goes to show that this chapter was pretty much insignificant.I'm not bashing the fic, author. I like it. But you gotta step up your game. I know this is supposed to be a SoL story too and the MC's gonna have his moments where he's just chill. But you gotta make it more interesting and not just—like the other guy said—developing pancakes.
