Love the intelligent Female, who Never forgets she maybe "beaten to death by staves" . Keep going, as you planned, the story looks very promising. If you change the FL to silly/ stupid this story will fail. You have made her Practical, rational and intelligent, which works VERY WELL particularly if she can adapt to the changing situation while being True to herself/character. I anticipate a good read.

If they make a 180° turn they will be EXACTLY OPPOSITE their starting point. You mean 180° to show the two-face character change NOT 360° as that means NO CHANGE.
