for some reason I always view that as trying to lift yourself in the air by pulling your feet up, I can justify air and fire being able to because they can generate their own element but with water and earth I just can see it

when it comes to combat, I feel like he should follow the simple rule of if you hold a weapon/ bend then you are on the chopping block but if you are unarmed or aren't bending then I feel like he should show mercy
