Definitely digging the slow burn in this novel. I wasn't sure how the romance could happen but I'm pleasantly surprised with the slow development. The more they rely on eachother and the more secrets they share, the closer they get. I'm almost getting Sherlock and Watson vibes from their escapades 🤭 I love them getting into trouble and having to solve problems. 🥸 I'm still impatiently awaiting Vince to come to terms with his feelings a bit better. 😩

I'm loving this novel but given how headstrong all the leads are about their points of view, I'm wondering how any romance is going to develop? Noah is very determined not to marry or lead anyone on. I admire his resolve and ability to hold to his values. But no romantic vibes going. Vince is very much about himself but complex. He has many facets to his personality. Seemingly uncaring, but also seems to be deeply caring on those he's taken an interest in. But maybe emotionally stunted in the love department. And Eve. Dear Eve. She has such a strong sense of preservation and has had such a life long goal of revenge that it's hard to see where romance would factor in. Not to mention, she also seems to not be interested. I thoroughly trust the author as your works are some of my favorites ❤️ I'm just getting impatient 😖

I cannot WAIT until Vincent falls completely for Eve and she can return some of the torture to him. 😈 Also, I'm soooo curious to know if he has realized that Eve is the little girl from his childhood that dropped pearls for tears. What will happen when it's revealed to eachother??? Hmmmm...
